I've been using Lipstik for a long time. Thanks for you work on this great style.

But, if it's possible, I would like to request some improvements such as V-style arrows, label highlighting and default/current button indicator like in QtCurve theme, please?

All good suggestions! Thanks!

But can you explain a little bit what you mean by label highlighting?

An option turning on backgorund highlighting of check box and radio button labels on mouse over.

Very nice, flexible style! Excelent improvement over Plastik. Please note that this theme compiles and installs perfectly on Fedora Core 4 with gcc 4, right "out of the box".

Two thumbs up!

Hi,
Are you aware that
"--Space the items on toolbars a little bit."
causes some problems. If you put two toolbars next to each other horizontaly (e.g. Konqueror does that when e.g. an image viewer is embedded) then the last icon of the first toolbar may not fit entirely. Try it.
But anyway, I really like this style.
Regards,
Gabor

Just to let you know that it works without a hitch on Mandriva LE2005. Even worked with Checkinstall. Cheers Joe

Hi, I really like this style. It's clean, faster & fancy.
My idea on the new flat taskbar buttons is, they should be improved in usability point of view (Ex: mouse over event). In the mean time, now I'm enjoying the behavour of the vertical tab buttons comes in the new amarok 1.3. And I like to see the same kind of behavior in Taskbar buttons as well.

I am really really glad lipstik is not dead. I have been using it since Christmas and despite all the new styles coming, I have found that lipstik is the best.

Thanks,
Osho

Hi,

I like lipstik very much and I've been using it for very long time.

But, with version 1.2 the animated logo - the last icon on konqueror's main toolbar is not shown when I have extra toolbar on (my default).

I downgraded to 1.1 and everythings works fine.

The flat taskbar and columns headers stuff is the only thing that I could think to make this better. Now it has come true :)

This makes not only my taskbar flatter, but also removes the annoying big sharpenned squares in to of the menus in the devices applet, and in the other taskbar menus where such ugly tittles apply.

I am happy to know that the project is not dead. I've been using lipstik since the first release - since then it has much matured and has become IMO the nicest-looking widget style for KDE. Keep up the great work!

P.S. All gentooers that have older lipstik ebuilds in their overlays can do the following:
-->8---------------------------------------
cd [portdir-overlay]/x11-themes/lipstik/
cp lipstik-x.y.ebuild lipstik-1.2.ebuild
ebuild lipstik-1.2.ebuild digest
emerge lipstik
-->8---------------------------------------

Is that kbfx or you've hacked kicker sources. could you please let us have it :). thanks I love lipstick but the lack of toolbar separators and lines like in plastik are missing. which will make lipstik look good.

Thank you for continuing the work on your great style. This is really good news. T H X! It's my absolute favourite, no other style used since 0.1. :)

Hi,

Its very good news that you continue this lipstik style. but i wish you change the side bar widget width square widget and not rounded corner. you can look the plastik side bar widget that come with kde 3.4 its very nice and look excelent.

Thank You.

Could you please tell how to get that K-MENU as we can see in the Screen shot!?

I love Lipstik style. But the Toolbars look rather plain, donno what but something is missing.

Thanks for Lipstik style, I first saw it on Kubuntu and I got it in Slackware 10.1 with KDE 3.4.

I wish it to become the default KDE 3.4.x style :)

Yeah... I know, something is missing... Thats why im working, whenever I can, on a new style, based on lipstik/plastik but with a more unique look. It will probably be ready soon.

For others who may be interested in Lipstik's future, I have a couple of updates sitting on my hd right now, but Im busy like hell these days, and dont know when I will have 15 minutes to sit down and publish...

As for the K Menu hack, its really ugly you know, and Im quite ashamed to publish it... But since I had so many request about it, I will probably put the patch on Lipstik's page with the next version.

How can I have a desktop like these screenshots? (including the icons and the k-menu?)
I have installed on my mandrake 10.1 lipstik theme but I also wanted to customize the icons and the k-menu like the screenshots!
Thanks to everybody
